Wham! The lighting struck and our power went out (sigh). When the rain stopped, my hubby and I took our daughter out to grab a bite to eat and hang out until everything returned to “normal”. Suddenly, we realized that the music playing at the restaurant wasn’t your typical musak. It had an eclectic mix of 80s tunes that brought back a flood of memories. The song that did it for me was the one at the top of this post “Slave To Love” by Roxy Music. Then that sparked the idea of creating a playlist – or a soundtrack of love if you will – of all the songs that remind me of past and present loves. Some may be painful, or warrant a faraway smile, while others will definitely make me blush! What about you? What songs are on your love playlist? I’ve asked my girlfriends to share theirs with me – in fact; we may even have a “ladies night” that includes wine, and the dishing of a lot of cathartic, hot, and hilarious memories.
