I was watching The View the other day, first of all because I love The View, second because it’s on after Regis and Kelly, and third because Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow were being interviewed for Funny People (which was very funny)! It was interesting—at first the girls got very proper with the boys. They seemed put off by the crude immaturity of the film’s SaltySpot humor. Then Seth Rogen reminded the girls of a video they’d shown just minutes prior of Sherri Sheperd getting her first bikini wax.
Sherri made the waxing look terrifying! “This is worse than childbirth!” she shouts. Guess I’m ready for babies then! LOL
I’ve always been an advocate for waxing. I find it cleansing and pretty painless. What do you think?
Oh, also, have you ever waxed anything else obscure that we should know about? I waxed my under-arms the other day for the first time, and it was FABULOUS.

P.S. Surgeon General Warning: It is worth mentioning that complications can occur including reactions to certain kinds of wax (“hard” wax is better) and bacterial infections from “double-dipping.” So pleeease make sure the bikini waxing you’re doing, if you’re doing any, is legit. And if you don’t want to do it (in my humble opinion), don’t!

I liked it. So much useful material. I read with great interest.
(1) I completely agree with waxing, it’s great, and I think if you can help your friends overcome their fear of waxing, even better! I don’t really see how she could say it’s worse than childbirth though, I mean really? Some hair follicles being pulled out from the root, or my cervix dilating? Uhm yeah, totally go with the waxing everytime!!
(2) Underarm waxing is AWESOME! I started this summer, & I will never go back to shaving as long as I can afford it!
(3) I got a pedicure once that included complimentary waxing of your toes, and it was actually pretty cool, though admitting that to anyone makes them think I have ridiculously hairy toes
I have a friend that thought she would get her first Brazilian wax while 8 months pregnant and I think she about almost gave birth! What was she thinking, lol.
des, re: #3 no i don’t think that
it is soooo satisfying…you don’t even know they’re there until they’re gone!!
actually that is truly how i feel about SweetSpot products–i didn’t even realize my sweet spot felt under-fabulous until i tried the products…
also, i did a bikini “shave” the other day…not so bad!!
