A Little Waxing Paradise

If you live in L.A., pleeeease go to the Queen Bee Waxing Salon.  It’s so much more than waxing.  I mean I think that any salon that posts a welcome this welcome deserves a little bit of my Sunday afternoon: “Nestled in a cozy corner in the heart of beautiful Downtown Culver City, there are two bungalows with blue awnings and a quaint little English Country Garden in the back, where tea and bickies are served. Within the confines of this little bungalow are a team of dynamic darlings who love nothing more than to pluck, pamper, and peel.”

They really get to the heart of the matter, in my opinion, because we don’t wax for the sake of waxing.  We wax to feel great, and who doesn’t feel great after a little celebration?

If you don’t live in L.A., other little birdies (or should I say queen bees?) tell me these hideaway, treehouse-like places should compare:  Just Waxing Salon in Chicago (http://www.justwaxinginc.com/), Max Wax in New York (http://www.maxwaxnyc.com/maxwax.html), and We Only Wax in Dallas (http://www.weonlywax.com/).

And, actually, if you live somewhere else and would like me to find you a quaint waxing place, just comment and I’ll research with my waxing buddies!

And if you’re scared about the pain, just remember this brilliant line from Legally Blonde: “What doesn’t kill us makes us hotter!”
