So I just got my entire face threaded and I feel FANTASTIC.
For those who don’t know the details, threading is an ancient method of hair removal in which a couple of cotton threads are tightened by an aesthetician around each hair and then plucked out. Unlike tweezing, a threader can remove an entire row of hair in a straight line at once.
I don’t have a lot of hair on my face, but I figured it could be nice to tweeze my eyebrows, and I was curious about waxing the hair right in front of my ears…I didn’t like the baby hair side burn things-I wanted to look like clean and fresh like Natalie Portman.
Well, for twenty-five bucks, the kind, elderly man at the manicure salon threaded my face, and, if I do say so myself, I think I look a little more like Natalie Portman than I did before.
It’s just going to be a Natalie Portman kind of day…
