I read this article in the New York Times today, and it really got me thinking.
These are all present-day pictures of hunters in Greenland, and this is how they live. It is just so unfathomable to me to think of myself living without stores, restaurants, ipods, cell phones…. Would I be someone who even resembles the person I am now?
How do you feel about our industrialized culture? Do you feel grateful? Envious?
