A Tricky Treat For Dieters

I recently returned home from the gym and felt that familiar craving. Something sweet…something salty…something (anything) now!

But why would I really want to ruin a perfect 60 minutes at spin class for a quick fix?

I looked through my cupboards in a hungry frenzy and rejected everything in my path. Something was stopping me. But what was it? Ahhh, it was ME! I took a moment (and a breath) to think about what I almost did. Good girl, I thought. You stopped yourself just in time.

So instead of a food treat, I headed off the bathroom and took a long luxurious shower. Just me, my loofah spongy thing and my favorite bottle of SweetSpot citrus galbanum gentle wash. And, since citrus is known to lift the spirit, my time was well spent.

When I was done, I felt a million times better and not a pound heavier. Go me! :)
