You know you love to thumb through magazines while standing in the checkout line, so were you devastated at the thought of magazines and newspapers going away when the internet came along?  I really didn’t believe that would happen, but I did think the number of sales would decline.  Contrary to popular misperception, and mine, the phenomenal internet has not come at the expense of magazines. Just as the internet drives magazine subscriptions, magazines drive Web searches.  According to The Power of Print it turns out that “the medium that some predicted would vanquish magazines is actually helping fuel their growth!”  Check out these interesting statistics.
