I was watching the episode called “Celebrity Pharmacology” on Community the other day and I had to laugh when Annie said she had saved up all her money from when the “period fairy” would come. Now that is a seriously creative parent (ok, I know this is just a TV show, but maybe that really happened to one of the writers!?) But really? She got rewarded for something that was inevitable? What about “Ahh, I’m sorry, let’s go out for some ice cream” or “why don’t I take you shopping” or “let’s go get our nails done”. But I think the best gift would have to be the Hormone Harmony gift set from SweetSpot Labs! It’s like confidence in a box.
