Smart Girls Do Cut Coupons

My excuse for not clipping coupons is who has time to clip coupons? But I do know people who will drive clear across town to save a couple dollars.

I have a co-worker who comes to work boosting on how she saved hundreds, yes hundreds, on her grocery bill because she used double coupons and she had a $10 in store coupon.

My sister on the other hand, rarely pays full price for anything from a handbag to furniture without first searching on the internet for coupons. Her biggest conquest to date was finding a Louis Vuitton duffle bag for $15.00. It’s the real thing.

With the economy as it is, I decided maybe I need to start making time. In doing some research I found out that various websites offer printable coupons, but they want you to register and once you do that, you get inundated with emails. So you need to choose wisely.

A good site for grocery coupons is coupon suzy.com. The most exciting biggest coupon site I found is thedealmap.com who compiles more than 300,000 deals from other websites on everything from restaurants, hotels, even automotive. All you do is type in your zip code and select a category, and it does the bargain hunting for you.

High Heels, Not Just For Women Anymore?

Not sure how to react to what I just heard about the latest craze in Europe being high heels for men . I tried to picture in my head what type of man, would wear heels and I just couldn’t come up with any.

Then I saw Russell Brand on TV promoting his new movie “Get Him to The Greek”, and what do you know? He was wearing high heeled shoes. There it was the perfect fit and he actually didn’t look as ridiculous as I would have imagined.

Still… I don’t know, the Ted Nugent type maybe to manly for my taste, but I couldn’t picture myself walking next to my boyfriend in heels, it just wouldn’t work for me.

I never thought I’d turn into my mother. What do you thnk, high heels for men, in or out?
